Spacecraft employs the granular synthesis technique to convert any sound into musical instrument. A dual performance window makes it simple to manipulate two samples at the same time using their upper and lower performance windows.

How quickly it goes depends upon how powerful its engine is: for instance a tiny engine can only move slightly while larger rockets with plenty of thrust can accelerate very rapidly.

The desktop version is a formidable granular synth with two parallel granular engines, MIDI/MPE support, granular controls designed for creative flow and an innovative grain pitch sequencer that offers everything from classical granular effects to lush sample layering and organic rhythmic effects.

Novum also features dual function generators to generate envelopes and slew gates, along with a full stereo reverb/filter. Six effects can be stacked onto two busses with four to six controllable knobs to customize processing of individual effects.
